All Rise! guest this week is Robbie Duncan, a DJ and music collector of many years whose signature style is a fusion of Jazz, Soul, Funk & House. He is the perfect guest to kick off the show, covering pretty much all the bases of what ‘All Rise’ is about, from years at the heart of evolving underground music scenes to his work furthering inclusion through DJing and music tuition in the community. We talk about his experience travelling all over the country to dance at rare groove clubs in the early 80s, ADE, Brick Lane Jazz Festival, helping others express their identity through DJing and tips from a lifetime of finding new sounds.
