Uncanny w/ Classical Hooligans
08.08.25This episode Basel invites "Classical Hooligans" a project founded in 2017 with the aim of bringing classical, contemporary, and avant-garde music back to an audience without an academic background. through live reinterpretations of 20th-century works, razor-sharp DJ sets.
This set is a journey into the darkest depths of classical, contemporary, and avant-garde music from the past few centuries. Through a fusion of 17th-century melodies and the searing electronic experiments of the 1960s, unexpected overlaps and shadowy corners reveal the darker side of the academic music world.
