A Lithuanian cassette special in support of the label’s latest vinyl release - resurrecting a lost cassette soundtrack originally created for a youth theater play staged in 1994 in Kaunas. To celebrate, we are sharing a subterranean guest mix by veteran Lithuanian composer, performance artist, record label owner, DIY shaman, cassette tape enthusiast and self confessed piss-taker Armantas Gečiauskas who’s been making multidisciplinary mischief for over two decades. His guest mix showcases his love of Lithuanian cassette tapes - gems accumulated over decades of rabid collecting and tape swapping. An absurd, poetic descent into the realm of dreams, esoteric otherworldliness and dark ambient waves.
