28.10.26SPMDJ moves between dusty atmospheres, infrasonic bass, rap, DIY songs and Detroit electro-funk. With a background in dance and studies, she has developed a hybrid approach shaped by sound sculpture, music programming, pirate radio and free and DIY scenes. Balancing chaos and harmony, her musical explorations bring contrasting worlds into conversation, guided by a curiosity for encounters and free-form expression. She has also been performing live for around ten years, more recently as part of her duo }Ï{.
For Bodañ, imagine an insect facing a data centre. Life against concrete, the organic mixed with the machine. Somewhere between fascination and catastrophe, absurdity and beauty, this mix explores the paradoxes of a world where opposites collide, intertwine, and sometimes turn out not to be so opposite after all.
