May edition featuring a true smorgasbord of musical delights coming from far and wide. We have the highly anticipated album from Bristol noise-funk punks Scalping, Avant-garde seance classics on ATC from Dead Space Chamber Music, funky vocoder laced drum workouts on Misumi Beach Selections, lost relics of techno pop on chOOn!! amongst many others. Such a great selection in there this month, better get consuming.

Scalping, having garnered huge attention across Bristol and further afield via their incredible world shows have finally released their long anticipated debut album. My oh my does it not disappoint.
Suggestions of Nu-Metal, EBM and Techno with smatterings of noise all across the album, live drums and synths, what more could you want. With many accolades already this is not an album to sleep on.

Summoned from the loft studio, this album from MTF leaves little to be desired. Drawn out tension laced electronic cuts with space to breathe between each sound, falling into rhythm when it needs to and letting the sound palette speak for itself when necessary.
What a treat Limbo Tapes have put out here on cassette no less, you know what to do!

Remastered for heavyweight vinyl here we have a lost relic of Techno-Pop originally recorded in 1984 by Shinichi Omata by revivified via London imprint chOOn!!.
The album is a charming assortment of synth pop ruminations, elegant and sweet yet with enough edge to keep the most serious of music lovers happy.
Soundtracks for films that don't exist or Pop songs of an adjacent universe, the whole album is chock full of lost oddities deserving of a second life. Go get it.

Jazz fuelled broken rhythm suitable for Sunday BBQ's as well as day parties under the midday sun. XL Regular embodies the essence of good house music and throws in that London jazz sound everyone loves for good measure.
Really good quality kit this, I'm sure it'll brighten a cloudy day for you.

Angelic recordings from Kevin Drumm out on the prolific Vaagner imprint. Allowing drones to do the talking and tease out harmonic balms to sooth old wounds.
Always great stuff from the label, they actually put out three things, was hard to choose and you should definitely go and check the others.

Leeds meets Uganda as Danny T & Tradesman come together with one of Africa's top MC's, Blessed San for this EP. Nick Manasseh on remix duties for the B side, stripping it back to it's bare essentials and reworking it into something his own.
